My Dream Preschool!

I want my preschool to be the most inviting place for both parents and children. I want bright colors, and organization, although that's hard with children constantly in and out. I want it to be welcoming and for the parents and families, and i want them to be excited to show people where their child goes to school. I want walls to have the children's artwork on it, and i want them to be proud of their work, and know that i am proud of them. I want the atmosphere to be something a lot of people have never seen before. I want an indoor play room for when it rains so that the children can still get their energy out, while being inside. I want dramatic play, and table set ups so that the room is open enough for the children to not feel crushed with things, but also filled with so many things the children can do! For different lessons i want the children to be surprised when they walk into the room and everything is different. I want them to see all new things to grasp their attention to the new atmosphere, and what they will be learning. Catching a child's attention is important. I go on Pinterest daily and have a board dedicated to specifically what i want to incorporate into my preschool building.

.

I want children to have a space for a lot of dramatic play, i feel like when i was little there wasn't enough room for play, or acting. It was tiny, or not open throughout the whole day. Imagination is key to me, children should be able to use their imagination often, and dramatic play definitly helps, and i just love this curtain idea!

this is my dream for an indoor play area, living in Massachusetts the weather is outrageous, and you never know what will happen, Children's energy on rainy days and snow days when its too cold to go outside builds up and that's when they turn into little crazy animals, so having a place like this for them to run and play would be perfect!

This for a dramatic play area, is amazing to me. I feel as though the children would love this. I would probably use it for an outdoor lesson, or a summertime type theme. It's something different and would easily grab children's attention because it may be something they have never seen before. Dramatic play doesn't always need a kitchen and table, sometimes that's important to have, and other times i feel as though you should have many different things.

This art room is awesome. Messes can really ruin a day sometimes, and to be honest this room may clear all that up for you. The walls can be painted on and can be painted over at the end of the year or even make it white board walls and it will come right off when you wipe it at the end of the day. The children have full access to all paint which sometimes children cant do because they have to share, so this makes that process way easier. I love this room and the whole idea!

I will continue to look at pictures, and dream of what i want my preschool to incorporate or look like. If you ever have anything you want to see in a preschool get a Pinterest, theyre amazing.
